In the course of conducting a review under section 128(1), the Coordinator must seek public comment on the extent to which the State electricity objective has been or is being met (the issue).
The Coordinator must ensure that a notice giving a general description of the issue is —
published in a daily newspaper circulating throughout the State; and
posted on a website maintained by the Coordinator.
The notice must include —
a statement that any person may, within a specified period, make written submissions on the issue to the Coordinator; and
the address (including an email address) to which the submissions may be delivered or sent.
The period specified under subsection (3)(a) must not end less than 30 days after the day on which the notice is published under subsection (2)(a).
The Coordinator must have regard to any submission made in accordance with the notice.
