57 Duration of state of emergency declaration
A state of emergency declaration —
(a)
has effect on and from the time it is made, or such later time as is specified in the declaration; and
(b)
if it is not extended by the Minister under section 58, or sooner revoked under section 59, remains in force for 3 days after the time it first has effect.
