Energy Coordination Act 1994

The Coordinator may by instrument in writing delegate to an officer referred to in section 4B the performance of any of his or her functions including functions under a written law, but not including the power to delegate under this section.

The Coordinator’s powers under subsection (1) also extend to delegation of functions to the Director.

A delegation may be general or as otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation.

A delegate remains subject to the direction and control of the delegator.

Performance of a function by a delegate is to be treated as performance by the delegator.
