42 Outline of this Part
This Part provides for the making of regulations prescribing a code of practice for fair dealing between a particular class of suppliers and consumers, or by a particular class of persons in relation to consumers.
If a person carries on business in contravention of a prescribed code of practice applying to them, the Commissioner can apply to the State Administrative Tribunal for an order requiring the person to comply with the code and rectify the consequence of the contravention of the code.
This section is intended only as a guide to the general scheme and effect of this Part, and does not limit the other provisions of this Part.
