264 Assessor’s report
(1)
The court may direct an assessor to prepare a report.
(2)
A copy of the report must be given to each party and any independent children’s lawyer.
(3)
An assessor must not be required to give evidence.
(4)
The court is not bound by any opinion or finding of the assessor.
