18F FES Commissioner’s functions under this Part
The functions of the FES Commissioner under this Part are —
(a)
to provide for the carrying out of monitoring activities and marine search and rescue operations; and
(b)
to promote the safety of life and property from natural disasters, accidents and other events that may require marine search and rescue operations to be carried out; and
(c)
to provide for the carrying out of assistance operations; and
(d)
to have general responsibility for all VMRS Groups.
