197 Requirement to notify Commissioner about disqualifying offences and orders
A person who is the holder of a firearm authority must give the Commissioner notice in writing in the approved manner and approved form of the occurrence of a disqualifying event in relation to the person or a person who is an authorised person for the licence within 14 days after becoming aware of the occurrence of the disqualifying event.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 000.
Each of the following is a disqualifying event in relation to a person —
a disqualifying order is made against the person; or
the person is charged with a disqualifying offence; or
there has been a finding of guilt in relation to a disqualifying offence committed by the person.
