22 Requirement for firearm to be suitable and appropriate for authorised use
(1)
A licence to authorise the use of a firearm must not be granted to a person unless the Commissioner is satisfied that the firearm is suitable and appropriate for the use to be authorised by the licence having regard to the purposes for which, and the circumstances in which, the firearm will be authorised to be used.
(2)
The regulations may provide for the matters of which the Commissioner must be satisfied in order to be satisfied that a firearm is suitable and appropriate for the use to be authorised by a licence.
