413 Continued operation of 1973 Act authority as transitional authority
(1)
A person who held a 1973 Act authority immediately before commencement day is taken to hold a firearm authority under this Act (a transitional authority) to replace the 1973 Act authority on and from commencement day.
(2)
A transitional authority confers the same authority under this Act as the 1973 Act authority that it replaces conferred under the 1973 Act.
(3)
The authority conferred by a transitional authority is subject to any conditions, limitations and restrictions to which it was subject as a 1973 Act authority.
