426 Firearms prohibition orders under 1973 Act
A firearms prohibition order made and served under the 1973 Act and in force under the 1973 Act immediately before commencement day is taken to be a firearms prohibition order made, served and in force under this Act.
A firearms prohibition order made under the 1973 Act but not served under the 1973 Act before commencement day and not revoked under the 1973 Act before commencement day is taken to be a firearms prohibition order made under this Act and may be served under this Act.
For the purpose of calculating the period for which a firearms prohibition order has been in force, any period for which the order was in force under the 1973 Act before commencement day is to count as a period for which the order has been in force.
