14B Auditor General’s opinion
The Treasurer is to submit the Annual Report on State Finances to the Auditor General.
The Auditor General is to —
prepare and sign an opinion on the audit of the Annual Report on State Finances and is to state whether in the opinion of the Auditor General the report —
has been prepared in accordance with external reporting standards; and
has been properly drawn up so as to present fairly the operating results and cashflows of the Government for the budget year and the financial position at the end of the budget year;
and
transmit the opinion to the Treasurer.
