25 Local government graffiti powers on land not local government property

(1)

A local government may obliterate graffiti that is visible from a public place and that has been applied without the consent of the owner or occupier, even though the land on which it is done is not local government property and the local government does not have consent to do it.

(2)

In subsection (1) —

land includes Crown land the subject of a pastoral lease within the meaning of the Land Administration Act 1997 section 3(1).
