57 Action if a House not sitting
(1)
If either House of Parliament is not sitting the Director may place a report before that House for the purposes of section 56(1) by giving the report to the Clerk of that House, and that report is taken to have been placed before that House.
(2)
The placing of a report before a House that is taken to have occurred under subsection (1) is to be recorded in the Minutes, or Votes and Proceedings, of the House on the first sitting day of the House after the receipt of the report by the Clerk.
