66 Offences relating to warrants

(1)

A provider and a provider’s officers, employees and agents must give to the Director or a person executing a warrant issued under section 64 all the assistance that the Director or person needs and they are able to give to help the Director or person to execute that warrant.

Penalty: $2 500.

(2)

A person must not obstruct or hinder the Director or a person executing a warrant.

Penalty: $2 500.

(3)

A person must not, without reasonable excuse, after being told by the Director or a person executing a warrant what are the person’s obligations in relation to the execution of a warrant —

(a)

refuse to answer a question asked by, or produce a document required by, the person executing the warrant; or

(b)

in answer to a question give information that the person knows to be false or misleading in a material respect.

Penalty: $2 500.
