15 Co‑opted members and role of CEO
The Council may appoint any person having relevant specialised knowledge or experience to be a co‑opted member of the Council for a period, or in relation to matters, specified in the instrument of appointment.
A person appointed under subsection (1) or a nominee of that person —
may, for the period or in relation to the matters in respect of which the person is appointed, take part in the deliberations of the Council but cannot vote on a matter unless authorised to do so under the regulations; and
otherwise, has all the functions and entitlements of a member for that period or in relation to those matters.
The CEO, or a nominee of the CEO, is entitled to attend any meeting of the Council and to take part in the consideration and discussion of any matter before a meeting other than a matter concerning the performance of the CEO, but cannot vote on any matter.
