35 The register
The Council must establish and maintain a register called the State Register of Heritage Places.
It is the objective of the Council and the Minister that the register is a comprehensive register of places of cultural heritage significance that make an important contribution to understanding the heritage of Western Australia.
The register must include places that the Minister, on the advice of the Council, has directed to be entered in the register in accordance with Division 2.
The Council must make the register available for public inspection in accordance with the regulations.
The Council must make information regarding amendments to, and removals of, entries in the register available for public inspection in accordance with the regulations.
