47 General notice
This regulation applies if —
notice is required, or allowed, to be given under the Act to owners affected by a matter; and
it is not reasonably practicable for the Council to give a separate notice to every owner affected by the matter; and
the Act does not otherwise specify the manner in which the notice must be given.
The Council may give general notice by —
publishing the notice —
in a newspaper circulating generally throughout the State; or
in a newspaper circulating in the area where the land the subject of the notice is situated; or
on the Council’s website;
and
giving notice to the local government of the area where the land the subject of the notice is situated.
