This Act comes into operation as follows —
Part 1 —on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent (assent day);
the rest of the Act — on the day after assent day.
In this section —
termination agreement means the agreement a copy of which is set out in Schedule 1.
The termination agreement is ratified.
Without limiting or otherwise affecting the application of the Government Agreements Act 1979, the termination agreement is to operate and take effect despite any other Act or law.
