Removing obstructions
18 Removing obstructions
If anything on regulated land is obstructing —
a road, track or path; or
access to a building or other structure; or
any waters,
an authorised person may move the thing so that it is no longer an obstruction.
An authorised person must not exercise a power under this regulation unless the authorised person has —
taken reasonable steps to inform the owner of the thing of the authorised person’s intention to exercise the power; and
allowed the owner a reasonable time to move the thing.
For the purposes of exercising a power under this regulation an authorised person may —
move a thing by any reasonable means (including, in the case of a vehicle, by driving or towing it); and
use reasonable force.
