Limited Partnerships Act 2016

Subsection (2) applies to a person (a relevant person) who at the beginning of commencement day —

is a person to whom section 88, 89 or 90 applies; and

is a general partner in or manages a limited partnership.

The relevant person is taken to have been granted leave under section 92(4) for the period of 6 months beginning on commencement day.

If the relevant person makes an application under section 92 within the period referred to in subsection (2), the leave referred to in that subsection —

continues to have effect, whether or not the period referred to in subsection (2) expires, until the application is determined; and

is cancelled by force of this subsection at the time of that determination.
