Limited Partnerships Act 2016

This Part amends the Partnership Act 1895.

In section 3 insert in alphabetical order:

In section 4 delete “This” and insert:

Subject to subsections (2) and (3), this

At the end of section 4 insert:

This Act applies to a limited partnership to the extent and with the modifications set out in the Limited Partnerships Act 2016 section 6.

This Act applies to an incorporated limited partnership to the extent and with the modifications set out in the Limited Partnerships Act 2016 sections 8 and 9.

In section 7(1) delete “Partnership” and insert:

After section 7(2) insert:

Partnership does not include the relation which subsists between —

the partners in an incorporated limited partnership; or

an incorporated limited partnership and its partners.
