A person must not enter a major event area or a part of a major event area that has an entrance designated by the major event organiser except through that designated entrance.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 000.
A person must not exit a major event area or a part of a major event area that has an exit designated by the major event organiser except through that designated exit.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 000.
A person does not contravene subsection (1) or (2) if the person has a reasonable excuse.
Subsections (1) and (2) do not apply to a police officer or other person acting under the authority of a written law.
