70H Conditions attached to retention licence
Every retention licence is taken to be granted subject to the conditions that the holder of the licence must —
[(aa) deleted]
fill in or otherwise make safe all holes, pits, trenches and other disturbances to the surface of the land the subject of the retention licence that are made while exploring for minerals, and that are likely to endanger the safety of any person or animal; and
take all necessary steps to prevent damage or injury to property or livestock whether resulting from fire, the presence of dogs, the discharge of firearms, the use of vehicles or any other cause; and
[(c) deleted]
comply with the expenditure conditions (if any) applicable to such land; and
not transfer or mortgage a legal interest in such land or any part thereof without the prior written consent of the Minister, or of an officer of the Department acting with the authority of the Minister; and
lodge, in the prescribed manner, such periodical reports and returns as may be prescribed; and
furnish to the Minister such geological samples obtained in the course of operations conducted by the holder under the licence as the Minister may request.
The Minister may at any time cancel or vary —

expenditure conditions referred to in subsection (1)(d).
