20S Exercise of powers under Division
Except as provided in subsection (2), the powers under this Division may be exercised in relation to a person or vehicle that is in a public place in a BSA.
The powers under this Division cannot be exercised in relation to a person participating in, or a vehicle being used primarily for, any of the following —
industrial action;
a political protest or demonstration;
a religious or cultural activity;
an educational activity;
the seeking or provision of medical or emergency services;
an activity prescribed by the regulations.
