2 Terms used
In these regulations —
caravan means a trailer, including a camper trailer, fitted for human habitation in the course of a journey;
goods vehicle means a motor vehicle designed to be used primarily to carry goods or materials used in any trade, business or industry but does not include the following motor vehicles —
a crane, hoist or conveyor;
an excavator, road grader, road roller, bulldozer or forklift truck or other machinery (other than a tractor), that is not constructed on a chassis of a type normally used in the construction of a truck;
a motor vehicle that is constructed or adapted for road construction or maintenance (including cleaning, sweeping or watering);
motor vehicle has the meaning given in the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 4;
trailer means a vehicle designed to be drawn by a motor vehicle.
