171 Entitlement to compensation, limits on
If compensation has been paid under a provision of this Part in relation to a matter or thing no further compensation is payable under any other provision of this Act as a result of the same matter or thing.
When a person is entitled to compensation under this Act in respect of any matter or thing, and is also entitled to compensation in respect of the same matter or thing under any other written law, that person is not entitled to compensation in respect of that matter or thing both under this Act and that other written law, and is not entitled to any greater compensation under this Act than that person would be under the other written law.
