235I Issuing entry warrant
A magistrate may issue an entry warrant only if satisfied that it is necessary for an authorised purpose.
An entry warrant must contain the following information —
a reasonably particular description of the land to which the entry warrant relates;
a reasonably particular description of the authorised purpose for which entry on the land is authorised;
the period, not exceeding 30 days, during which the entry warrant may be executed;
the name of the magistrate who issued the entry warrant;
the date and time when the entry warrant was issued.
If a magistrate refuses to issue an entry warrant, the magistrate must record on the entry warrant application the fact of, the date and time of and the reasons for the refusal.
