(1)

Nothing in this Part prevents the making of an emergency situation declaration or a state of emergency declaration under the Emergency Management Act 2005.

(2)

The making of a declaration referred to in subsection (1) does not prevent the making of a public health state of emergency declaration under this Part.

(3)

Nothing in this Part limits the operation of the Emergency Management Act 2005 section 8(1).
