181 Powers to use vehicles
(1)
In this section —
authorisation includes a licence, registration, approval, permit, exemption, certificate or other form of authority.
(2)
For emergency management purposes, an emergency officer may use a vehicle in any place and in any circumstance despite any provision of any written law that requires —
(a)
the emergency officer to have an authorisation to use that vehicle or to use that vehicle in that place or in that circumstance; or
(b)
an authorisation for the use of that vehicle or for the use of that vehicle in that place or in that circumstance.
