3 The Public Trustee (Amendment) Regulations (No. 2) 2000 r. 5 reads as follows:
“
5. Fees payable — savings
Despite the amendment effected by regulation 4, the Public Trustee Regulations 1942 as in force before the commencement of these regulations continue to apply after that commencement in relation to —
property that was in the Public Trustee’s control under the Crimes (Confiscation of Profits) Act 1988 immediately before the commencement of these regulations; and
property of which the Public Trustee has care or control under the Crimes (Confiscation of Profits) Act 1988 as a result of the operation of the Criminal Property Confiscation (Consequential Provisions) Act 2000.
