3A References to residential premises or premises
(1)
In a provision of this Act that relates to a residential tenancy agreement, a reference to the residential premises, or the premises, is taken to be a reference to the residential premises for which a right to occupy is granted under the agreement.
(2)
For the purposes of subsection (1), a provision of this Act that refers to a lessor or a tenant is taken to be a provision that relates to the residential tenancy agreement to which the lessor or the tenant is a party.
