10J Objects
The objects of this Part are to provide for a court that has made a final order that is an FVRO to make an additional order —
(a)
to assess the eligibility of the respondent for a programme designed —
(i)
to encourage the respondent to accept responsibility for the respondent’s family violence and the effect it has on others; and
(ii)
to encourage the respondent to stop committing further family violence;
and
(b)
if appropriate, to require the respondent to attend the programme.
