43 Manner of giving directions under this Division
(1)
A direction under section 39, 40, 41 or 42 may be given to the driver, a co‑driver or other person orally or by means of a sign or signal (electronic or otherwise), or in any other manner.
(2)
A direction under section 39, 40, 41 or 42 may be given to a responsible person for a vehicle orally or by telephone, facsimile, electronic mail or radio, or in any other manner.
