48 Moving vehicles involved in offence
A police officer may drive or convey a vehicle to any police station or other place for safe custody if the officer —
(a)
reasonably believes that the vehicle has been used in connection with an offence under any written law; or
(b)
has charged a person with an offence an element of which is the use or driving of the vehicle.
