1B. Provisions of Part I subject to arrangements
The provisions of Part I of this Act are subject to the provisions of any arrangement, or supplementary arrangement —
mentioned in section 5 of the Statistics (Arrangements with States) Act 1956 of the Commonwealth Parliament or any Act passed in amendment of, or substitution for, that Act by the Commonwealth Parliament; and
entered into by the Governor‑General of the Commonwealth pursuant to authority conferred by section 5 of that Act, and by the Governor pursuant to section 25 of this Act, and for the time being subsisting.
