10ZD Confidential police information
(1)
This section applies if —
(a)
the Minister —
(i)
refuses to grant or extend a wagering licence; or
(ii)
amends, suspends or cancels a wagering licence;
and
(b)
the decision to do so is made solely or partly on the basis of confidential police information as defined in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 section 20A(1).
(2)
The Minister is not required to give any reasons for the decision other than that the decision is made in the public interest.
