These regulations come into operation on the day on which the Telecommunications (Interception) Western Australia Act 1996 3 comes into operation 1 .
In these regulations —
officer of the Commissioner and Parliamentary Commissioner have the meanings given in section 19 of the Act.
The Parliamentary Commissioner is an inspecting officer for the purposes of the Act.
Each officer of the Commissioner is an inspecting officer for the purposes of the Act.
The Parliamentary Commissioner is the principal inspector for the purposes of the Act.
