Director General may use staff of other bodies
8 Director General may use staff of other bodies
The Director General may, for the purposes of assisting in carrying out the provisions of this Act —
with the consent of a public authority, use the services of a person employed by the public authority; or
with the consent of the officer’s employing authority, use the services of an officer of the Public Service.
In subsection (1) —
employing authority has the same meaning as it has in the Public Sector Management Act 1994;
public authority means any State instrumentality or agency or any public statutory body, whether incorporated or not, established by or under a law of the State.
This section does not prevent the operation of section 66 or 100, or any other provision, of the Public Sector Management Act 1994.
