These regulations shall come into operation on the day on which the Trustees Amendment Act 1987 comes into operation.
A trustee may invest any trust funds in the shares of or on deposit in a building society that —
is carrying on business in the State; and
was, immediately before the coming into operation of the Trustees Amendment Act 1987, a society certified by the Treasurer under section 16 (1) (e) of the Trustees Act 1962 as a society in which trustees may invest.
