Committees

Current

(1)

The Waste Authority, with the approval of the Minister, may —

(a)

establish committees to assist the Waste Authority in the performance of its functions; and

(b)

determine the constitution of any committee; and

(c)

appoint —

(i)

members of the Waste Authority; or

(ii)

members of the Waste Authority and other persons,

to be members or deputy members of a committee established under paragraph (a); and

(d)

discharge, alter, or reconstitute any such committee.

(2)

At least one member of each committee established under subsection (1) must be a member of the Waste Authority.

(3)

A committee established under subsection (1) must comply with any direction of the Waste Authority.

(4)

Subject to any direction of the Waste Authority, a committee established under subsection (1) may determine its own procedure.
