Where a Medical Assessment Panel's determination is quashed by certiorari, the original referral by the review officer remains extant and the Panel retains jurisdiction to make a fresh determination. However, the Panel must conduct a fresh medical examination of the worker before doing so (where it had previously examined the worker), and must make its determination within 28 days of that examination as required by s 145E(2).
