The Henry guideline for armed robbery applies even where the offence was spontaneous rather than planned, as the guideline itself contemplates a 'limited degree of planning'. Where multiple victims are assaulted in a single sequence of offending, an identifiable distinct sentence is required for each offence with partial accumulation.
