An address provided by a party in open court in response to a judicial inquiry about where communications can be sent constitutes an acknowledgment of that address for the purposes of UCPR 10.6(1), enabling service by post to that address to be treated as sufficient service under UCPR 10.6(2), even where the address differs from the formal address for service in filed documents.
