However, a parole eligibility date of four years (six months below the halfway mark) was inadequate where the offender committed offences on bail and demonstrated an established pattern of offending; the parole eligibility date was increased to five years and four months. The Attorney-General was not permitted to raise on appeal a contention that autism spectrum disorder was an aggravating factor where that argument was not advanced before the sentencing judge.
