In drug syndicate cases where co-offenders share largely common criminality but perform different roles, the sentencing judge is not required to make greater differentiation between sentences merely because one offender was involved in a lesser quantity of drugs or was not involved in all aspects of the enterprise. Particular caution applies in parity challenges where the same judge sentenced all co-offenders.
