48 Surrender of authorisations
(1)
An authorisation holder may surrender the authorisation by giving the animal ethics committee written notice of the surrender and the authorisation.
(2)
The surrender takes effect on—
(a)
the day the notice is given to the animal ethics committee under subsection (1); or
(b)
if the notice states a later date of effect—that date.
