55 Voluntary information about donor conceived people
A mature donor conceived person may, by written notice, give the director-general any of the following information for inclusion in the donor register:
their full name;
their sex;
their home address;
their date and place of birth;
their donor’s donor code;
the full name of the person who gave birth to them.
A parent of a donor conceived child or young person may, by written notice, give the director-general any of the following information about the child or young person for inclusion in the donor register:
their full name;
their sex;
their date of birth;
their donor’s donor code;
the full name of the person who gave birth to the child or young person.
The notice may state restrictions on the disclosure of the information.
The director-general may—
require that the notice be accompanied by evidence that the information contained in the notice is accurate; and
enter in the donor register any information given to the director‑general under this section.
