Content of prohibition notice

In force

A prohibition notice must state the following:

(a)

that it is a prohibition notice under this Act;

(b)

the name of the recipient;

(c)

the grounds on which the notice is given;

(d)

any conditions on the prohibition the director-general considers appropriate;

Examples

 the prohibition applies only to stated premises

 the prohibition applies only to premises in a stated area

(e)

the day the prohibition ends or that the notice continues in force until it is revoked;

(f)

the period after which the recipient may apply to have the notice revoked.
