Contravention of prohibition notice

In force

(1)

A person commits an offence if the person—

(a)

is given a prohibition notice under section 84; and

(b)

contravenes the notice.

Maximum penalty:

(a)

for a 1st offence—250 penalty units; or

(b)

for a 2nd or subsequent offence—500 penalty units.

(2)

A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits a separate offence for each day (after the first day of the contravention) during any part of which the contravention continues.

Maximum penalty (for each day): 30 penalty units.
