Use of assistants

In force

(1)

An authorised person exercising a function under this Act may exercise the function with the assistance of any other person the authorised person considers necessary in the circumstances.

(2)

A person assisting an authorised person may—

(a)

accompany the authorised person onto any premises that the authorised person is lawfully allowed to enter under this Act; and

(b)

take all reasonable steps to assist the authorised person in the exercise of the authorised person’s functions under this Act.
